La vida es un mundo lleno de colores.
Yo siempre estoy rodeada de muchismos colores. A mi me encantan jugar con las
combinaciones cromáticas y adicionarles algo totalmente inesperado. Para mi los
colores son como una orquesta y para que suene bien y en armonía necesitamos
darle un peso diferente a cada uno de ellos.
Life is a world full of colors. I am always surrounded by many colors.
I love to play with chromatic combinations and add to them a totally unexpected
color. For me the colors are like an orchestra that to sound good and in harmony
we need to give each one a different weight.
Así es que cuando me invitaron a
participar en el taller de dos dias
Pintando en seda El Circulo Cromatico con la Maestra en Textiles Barbara
Trowbridge, no lo dude ni por un momento.
So is that when I was invited to participate in the two-day
colourwheel workshop silkpainting with Master in Textiles Barbara Trowbridge, I
did not hesitate for a moment.
Al comienzo, repasamos la teoría del color y luego hicimos diferentes combinaciones. Tambien la degradacion de
colores en gamas., colores calidos y frios, combinaciones monocromaticas, los
tonos tierra, el blanco, el negro, el
gris, y mucho mas. Los colores Primarios: Amarillo, azul y rojo, los
secundarios: Naranja, verde y violeta y los terciarios: mezclando partes
iguales de colores primarios y secundarios . Ejemplo: Amarillo verdoso,
Amarillo anaranjado. Los colores complementarios que estan opuestos en en
circulo cromático.
At first, we review the theory of colour and then did different
combinations. Also degradation of colors ranges, warm and cool colors,
monochromatic combinations, earth tones, white, black, gray, and more. Primary
colors: Yellow, blue and red. Secondary: Orange, green and violet and tertiary:
mixing equal parts of primary and secondary colors. Example: Greenish yellow, orange
yellow. The complementary colours are opposites on color wheel.
Practicamos doce técnicas diferentes de como tenir la seda con colorantes reactivos. Técnicas: la naturaleza como plantillas, resistente
permanente gutta, sal, azúcar dibujo lineal y otras. En algunas de ellas escogí el esquema armónico combinando colores diferentes que esten próximos en
el circulo ( azul y violeta ) y en otras escogi en esquema de contraste,
combinando los colores que estan totalmente opuestos ( Azul y Naranja ).
Twelve different techniques practiced as silk dye using reactive dyes.
Techniques: nature as templates, permanent gutta-resistant, salt, sugar, line
drawing and others. Some of them chose the harmonic scheme, combining different colours that are coming into the circle (blue and violet) and other chose in
contrast scheme, combining colours that are totally opposite (Blue and Orange).
Me emociona el pensar en
todas las posibilidades de hacer proyectos en los que voy a practicar todas estas técnicas, bufandas, cojines,
objetos de arte, banderines, y muchos
mas.
I'm excited to think about all the possibilities
to do projects where I will practice these techniques, scarves, pillows, art, banners, and more.
